LXXIII Grand Chapter Convention
February 24-26, 2017
We now have a quorum and delegates can purchase airline tickets. YOU MUST PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS BY 1/11/17. There is a cap of $350 for domestic chapters and $550 for international chapters. If this causes a hardship for your chapter, please contact me and we will discuss additional help. You will be reimbursed for your ticket at lunch on Saturday, at the meeting.
There is a $100 charge for each alternate and guest attending the meeting. Lodging and food will be provided for them. Spouses or significant others will be responsible for their own food and lodging.
Transportation, from and to the airport, will be provided by the hosting chapter, provided you send your travel arrangements to me. If travel arrangements are not sent in, you will be responsible for your own transportation. Please provide me with your cell phone number when sending in your travel arrangements. Everyone will be provided with a list of contact numbers in case problems arise.
Lodging and food is provided by the hosting chapter.
The meeting will be called to order on Friday evening around 8:30 pm. Roll call will be taken and any changes to the statutes or rituals are presented at this time. The meeting is then adjourned until Saturday morning. The meeting usually lasts until around 3:30 pm. It is then adjourned and we meet again for the banquet on Saturday evening and the officers are installed.
Each delegate is responsible for presenting a typewritten report to be presented at the meeting. This report should include social activities, renovations to the house, community service, problems, etc. The report will be published in the next Chronicles.
PLEASE HAVE YOUR MEMBERSHIP UP TO DATE. YOU MUST BE AN OFFICIAL MEMBER OF PHI CHI TO ATTEND THE MEETING. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
